My name is Jake Taylor, and I founded Building Capture in late 2023 after wanting to build a business of my own for years. I’ve always been drawn to entrepreneurship because of the freedom it gives me to work with different people, learn how other businesses operate, and find practical ways to help them succeed.
What started as a small local operation has grown into a commercial building documentation company serving projects across Michigan and throughout the country. Building Capture provides 3D scanning, drone services, photography, and other building documentation services for companies that need reliable information about their properties and projects.
One of my favorite parts of the business is getting to work with people across different industries and understanding what we can do to help. Every single project is different, and I enjoy figuring out how we can make the process easier, faster, and more useful for the client.
