Building Capture (Chronicle Holdings LLC, doing business as Building Capture, "Building Capture," "we," "us," or "our") provides drone photography and video, aerial mapping, drone LiDAR surveying, thermal inspections, facade inspections, 3D laser scanning, as-built floor plans, virtual tours, and building photography services to commercial and industrial clients. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit buildingcapture.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us as a website visitor or prospective client.

This policy covers the Site and general business communications. It does not cover the specific handling of project data, site imagery, scans, or deliverables produced for a client under a signed service agreement. Those are governed by the agreement for that project.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you give us directly. When you submit a quote request, contact form, or otherwise reach out to us, we may collect:

• Your name, company name, email address, and phone number

• The project location or property address

• Project details you provide, such as building size or acreage, timeline, desired deliverable format, and site conditions

• Any other information you choose to include in a message to us

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects some technical information automatically when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and approximate location based on IP address. This is collected through our website platform and standard analytics tools, and is used in aggregate to understand site traffic and improve the Site.

Cookies. The Site may use cookies and similar technologies through our website hosting platform and analytics tools to support basic site functionality and to understand how visitors use the Site. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Site work.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to quote requests and inquiries

• Prepare quotes and scope out projects

• Schedule, coordinate, and deliver services

• Send project-related communications, such as scheduling updates or deliverables

• Maintain records for insurance, contracts, and certificates of insurance

• Improve the Site and our marketing

• Meet legal and accounting obligations

We do not use information collected through the Site for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, customer relationship management software, email provider, and accounting software. These providers only receive what they need to do their job.

• Subcontracted pilots, scanning technicians, or partner firms, but only as needed to staff or deliver a project you've engaged us for.

• Our insurance agent, when a certificate of insurance is requested for a project.

• Government authorities or other third parties, if required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

4. DRONE FLIGHTS AND SITE IMAGERY

Building Capture operates under FAA Part 107. Our drone flights, photography, scans, and inspections are scoped to the specific property or project we've been engaged to document. We don't intentionally capture identifiable images of people, or of neighboring private property outside the agreed project scope, in the course of routine commercial documentation work.

Ownership, use, and handling of photos, video, scans, and other project deliverables are addressed in the service agreement for each project, not by this policy.

5. DATA RETENTION

We keep the information described above for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver a project, meet our contractual, accounting, insurance, and legal obligations, and for a reasonable period after in case questions come up. We periodically review and remove information we no longer have a reason to keep.

6. DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, including limiting access to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. YOUR CHOICES

You can ask us to correct or delete information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing communications, by contacting us using the information below. We'll honor reasonable requests to the extent we're able, while still meeting our legal, contractual, and accounting obligations.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Site is directed at businesses and professionals, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Site may link to third-party websites we don't control, such as social media pages. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and encourage you to review their policies.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
